What is different?
Not a character preset. Not a transcript dump. Not another all-in-one agent runtime.
Tsuzuri Harness is the control plane for what becomes identity, memory, acquired capability, execution policy, and durable continuity.
Identity starts genuinely blank
Null, uncertain, and unformed state is valid. The harness does not fill the character sheet for you.
Conversation is evidence
Do not turn every message into memory. Retain only meaning that deserves to survive.
Runtime is not biography
Models, tools, sandboxes, and connectors belong to the host, not the identity.
Execution adapts to capability
Use less scaffolding for a strong executor and narrower responsibility for a weak one. The contract stays fixed.
Same starting point, different life
They can start the same and still become different.
The harness does not choose the ending. Different conversations, tasks, interests, and decisions create different evidence.

Form identity
Keep suggestion, candidate, acceptance, and canonical state separate.
Maintain memory
Retain selectively, then consolidate, supersede, prune, repair, or retrieve long-lived memory as needed.
Acquire capability
Separate temporary competence from durable skills and promote only reusable execution knowledge.
Adapt execution
Change autonomy, task granularity, scaffolding, verifier strength, and escalation to fit the current executor.
Change selectively
Repair, explore, consolidate, prune, or conserve. More machinery is not automatically more growth.
Continue safely
Resume capsules, execution packets, provenance, authority, and portability preserve continuity across long tasks and hosts.
